Tasked by the rspca to rescue this exhausted pup from Abereiddy Beach after a number of reports came in about people and their dogs disturbing it. He had washed in with the high tide this morning, we could see the tracks made crawling up and down the beach. Pups spend a lot of time on land resting. They do not yet ‘belong in the sea’ nor do they need humans to help ‘put it back in the sea’. Young white pups don’t swim well and can drown when their thick coat gets too waterlogged. Please keep your distance (20m is sensible) and keep dogs away/on a lead/quiet. 🦭♥️🙏
