Called out to Abercastle yesterday, reports of a seal pup in the carpark! By the time we arrived this little guy had been ushered back onto the beach and was making its way to the water. Thanks to the person that called it in, we’re always happy to attend. These young pups are weined off of milk at about the same time that they lose their white fur. Ushered back into the water under the belief that mum will take care of this little one is possibly misguided unfortunately. This little guy looked to be underweight but otherwise fit and well.
