Called out to this scruffy little chap last night. Approx 3-4 weeks old and underweight. A good guide to age is their coat. This guy has lost most of his white downy fur so he’s probably weened (they lose their white fluffy coat at about the same time). Left to fend for himself in the current rough sea conditions, he might not fair to well. Please do report any young pups on public beaches etc. We’re happy to check on them. While we prefer to leave them alone sometimes they need our help. This little guy will be transferred to a rehab facility where they’ll care for him, feed him up ready for release back into the wild. 🦭 ♥️
